The Montreal Quebec Temple, completed in 1999, was Quebec’s first temple. In order to enhance the patron experience within the temples, the Church began a substantial upgrade of the current audio visual equipment within Canadian temples in 2021 and carrying through into 2022.  The 2022 project included: audio visual and electrical renovations to several instruction rooms, involving substantial remodeling of the millwork, framing, interior carpet flooring, gold leafing and wallpaper work. This Temple also required a sizable renovation to repair the font within the baptistry due to water leakage.
